Service Description

Join us for a fun and creative 2.5-hour workshop where you'll make your very own mug rug using the quilt-as-you-go technique! Perfect for beginners and seasoned sewists alike. You'll use pre-cut fabric strips to design and sew your piece directly onto batting, combining piecing and quilting in one easy step. We'll provide all the materials, and you'll get hands-on experience with a sewing machine as you build your mini masterpiece. This workshop focuses on making your own mug rug, with a brief demo on sewing basic seams on the sewing machine. While we’ll guide you through the steps, we are not doing a deep dive into sewing machine operation for this workshop. We have a limited number of machines available to borrow, but we encourage you to bring your own if you have one.
